Physical faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University along with Mentor, a Siemens Business company have held a seminar

On January 23, the physical faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University along with Mentor, a Siemens Business company has held a seminar on the topic of “VLSI design by Mentor CAD facilities”. Sergey Elizarov, the MALT project leader, has made a welcoming speech.

 

During the seminar, representatives of MSU, Mentor and Megratec have made presentations. Major attention at the seminar was devoted to IC functional verification, there have been considered the VLSI simulation capabilities by Mentor Questa and Veloce facilities. Mentor specialists have described the development route of analog and mixed circuits, and MEMS design by Mentor Tanner facilities. Mentor Calibre verification tools have also come to attention. The seminar has ended with a functional verification workshop.
